Youth Lacrosse

Whether you’re looking to learn the game or are a seasoned player, South Suburban is the place to play the fastest sport on two feet. Hone your skills in our camps and clinics and compete in our leagues and tournaments. And enjoy playing the sport you love.

NEW Fall Box Lacrosse

Have a lacrosse player that can't wait to play box lacrosse? Now is your chance! We are partnering with the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) to offer a 2018 Fall Box Lacrosse Program.

Team practice will begin the week of August 13  at either Cornerstone Park or David A Lorenz Park. Practices will be up to 1.5 hours long and will be held between 4:30 and 7:30 pm.

Games will be on Sundays between 12 and 6pm. The regular season begins Sunday, August 19, and the Championship weekend will be Sunday, October 14.

Fall Lacrosse

Season includes six games, reversible jerseys and officials. Players of all playing abilities are welcome. All that is required is your own equipment. 

All games are played on Saturdays starting on September 8 through October 13 between 8am and 5pm.

Boys: K/1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th
Girls:
K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, Middle School (6th/7th/8th), HS
*Boys K/1st, and Girls K-5th will play 7v7 on a modified field

Practice

Practice location, time, and day will be determined at the Coaches Meeting.  Teams will practice once a week for 1 hour.  Practices are usually held Monday through Friday 4 - 8 pm.

Camps and clinics

Summer Lacrosse Camps  

Summer lacrosse camps are for beginner to intermediate players. The camps will introduce new skills, teach basic rules, refine techniques, and offer some game play. Separate sessions are offered for boys and girls, ages 6-14. Players must have FULL equipment to participate. No age exceptions, no High School players.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:
Boys: lacrosse stick, shoulder pads, arm pads, mouthpieces, helmets, 4 pt. chin straps, safety stickers and gloves. Highly Recommended: athletic cup

Girls: lacrosse stick, mouthguard and goggles.
