Free tree program for Sheridan residents
In celebration of Arbor Day, South Suburban and Groundwork Denver are partnering to help beautify the City of Sheridan through a free tree planting program for residents on Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
SSPR is supplying 40 trees and SSPR staff will train dozens of Groundwork Denver volunteers who will plant the trees. Four varieties of trees will be available on a first come, first served basis. There are many benefits to adding trees to your landscaping. Trees create shade, reduce flooding, improve air quality and more.
To request a tree, call 303.455.5600, or visit surveymonkey.com/r/sheridantrees. To volunteer to plant trees and for more information, email Volunteer@GroundworkColorado.org.
