Youth & Adult TRYathlons

Swim, bike, run for fun! This is the perfect starting point to TRY a TRI. These races are about COMPLETION, not competition. All athletic levels are welcome. The only prerequisite is that you must be able to swim unassisted in deep water.

Age group times and distances

Age divisions are flexible. Please choose your race based on your age or your desired race distance.

A mountain bike or hybrid type of bike is highly recommended for 10-12, Elite & Adult division bike portions.

Getting ready for your triathlon

Triathlon Camps
Ages 6 - 12; Jun 22 - 26, July 20 - 24; $40 Resident, $50 Nonresident
Work on all three events (swim, bike, run) plus transitions to prepare for a triathlon. Each different element of the sport will be introduced and practiced. Prerequisites: participants must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted, bicycle required with helmet. After training for a week, campers have the opportunity to sign up for the Goodson or Cook Creek TRYathlon, that follows the camp on the weekend. Learn more.
