Library services

As the former Lone Tree branch of Douglas County Libraries (DCL), books are near and dear to us. The DCL still provides limited library services at our facility.

We have a double-sided book shelf, a wall featuring the newest releases and best sellers, a book drop and a self-service checkout kiosk.

Request a title for pick-up

There is a limited amount of titles on site, but if you’d like to reserve one and pick it up at the center, you can!

To request a title, please call DCL at 303.791.7323 to set The Lone Tree Hub as your holds pick-up location. Once you set up your holds location, request the title for checkout and pick-up on the DCL website or at any DCL location.

The Libraries’ courier service will bring the title over for pick-up. You can also return your DCL title in our drop-off box.

Please note, you cannot get a DCL library card at our location.

Admission

The Lone Tree Hub’s lounge is free and open to the public during normal operating hours.

Drop-in and registration-based classes have separate admission.

Our conference room, three multipurpose classrooms, and lobby space are all available to rent on a first-come first-served basis.

  • $45 per room/hour
  • $200 for the facility/hour

To rent a space, call the facility supervisor at 720.245.2602

History

The Lone Tree Hub served as the Lone Tree branch of Douglas County Libraries until 2015.

When DCL announced they were planning to build a newer, larger building, the City of Lone Tree Council committed to preserving the space as a community resource.

In 2015, the City of Lone Tree reached out to its citizens to hear how they would like the spaced used, and in 2016, we joined with Lone Tree to start a new chapter for the former library.
