South Suburban Closures Due To Stay-At-Home Public Health Order

All playgrounds, golf courses, driving ranges and related golf facilities, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts and picnic areas and shelters are closed.

Parks and trails remain open and compliance with social distancing of at least six feet is required.

Violation of the public health order is a class 1 misdemeanor and may be punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 and imprisonment.

Youth Volleyball

Girls and boys - learn the basics, practice your skills, play on a team, and just have fun in our recreational leagues, camps, clinics, and tournaments.


Spring CARA Volleyball

Learn volleyball basics, practice the fundamentals, and compete against other metro area recreational teams. In this team-oriented league, we emphasize equal play.

Who: We have four levels: Grades 2-4, Grades 5-6, Grades 7-8, and High School, Grades 9 -12. Boys and girls are welcome!
When: Games: April - May
Practice: Grades 2-4 will practice one hour a week and all other grades will practice two hours a week.  Practice times and locations are determined by coaches. Practices are usually held Mon- Fri between 5 - 9 pm.
Games: Teams will play in 2-3 Saturday tournaments between April-May , including a State Tournament in May, at various metro area recreation centers.
Price: Grades 2-4: $60 Resident, $72 Nonresident; Grades 5-12: $75 Resident, $87 Nonresident
Registration Opens: 8am, Monday, January 1
Registration Deadline: 5pm Sunday, March 8

Volleyball Instructional Camps

Build your skills in passing, setting, serving, and hitting. Each day you'll work on one skill by playing a variety of games and fun drills that balance between competition and sportsmanship. Ages 7- 12.

For intermediate and more experienced players. Participants will be given more instruction to fine tune their fundamentals and techniques to help them become better volleyball players.

Volunteer to Coach

Interested in volunteering to coach a youth sports team? Follow these steps:

  1. Click Here and register as a volunteer coach under the correct program. Must have an account to complete. 
  2. Complete Concussion Awareness Training (choose one):
