South Suburban Public Art Committee seeks new member

Apr 29 2019

Want to serve on a volunteer committee and have an interest or expertise in art? South Suburban Public Art Committee (SSPAC) invites you to serve as one of its at-large members.

South Suburban wants to encourage a legacy of art to be enjoyed and appreciated by its residents. The SSPAC recommends to the South Suburban Board of Directors the selection, placement and installation of art in public parks, along trails and in facilities. The committee also oversees the selection of temporary gallery exhibitions in the recreation centers.

SSPAC members must live within the District, and be able to serve a three-year term, beginning mid-summer. Currently, the committee meets from 8:30 - 10 a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Interested? Complete the application and tell us about yourself, including any relevant connection to the arts and to South Suburban, and why you want to serve, by June 3.  Mail or email Lynne Wachter, South Suburban Parks and Recreation, 6631 South University Blvd, Centennial 80121 or
